As the first bank of South Tyrol the Sparkasse Südtirol is represented in the entire north-east of Italy as well as in Munich.
Even more than 165 years after its foundation, the tradition-rich bank sees it as its duty to create added value for its customers. More than 200,000 private customers and 25,000 corporate customers are associated with the savings bank and seek advice on its premises.
Interstore | Schweitzer developed a concept that recreates and consolidates the common corporate philosophy and history, but at the same time allows each branch to present its own regional characteristics.
For the design of the five branches, great attention was paid not only to functionality but also to the relationship to the respective locations.
Ortisei
In this branch in the South Tyrolean mountains, the focus was to create spaces for personal consulting and not so much space for services at the counter.
Thanks to the warm design, a room with a feel-good ambience was built as well as a meeting point for the community.
A combination of tradition and modernity was created with the technical equipment and design elements.
Thanks to the integration of art and local crafts visitors and locals recognise Ortisei in this branch.
Appiano
Thanks to the design elements and photographs of landmarks of the municipality the branch on the South Tyrolean Wine Road has a high quality of stay.
With design elements for example on the wine topic, the local identity was strongly incorporated into the design of the branch.
The fusion of tradition and modernity takes place in an authentic way to meet the needs of the wide range of customers.
Further the topic of digitalisation was integrated and the services offered were clearly positioned.
Bolzano
The specially developed floor mosaic reflects the urban character of the provincial capital.
Natural and local materials such as wood & felt harmonise with modern light boxes in various shapes with graphic symbols from Bolzano.
Customer advice is at the heart of the services thanks to the optimal design of the premises with flexible screens and enclosed spaces for more privacy.
Egna
A red staircase was installed as an eye-catcher to connect the two levels of the branch.
The attention in the design is on the characteristics of the community. Natural materials and black and white photographs of the centre of Neumarkt were integrated.
In this branch, too, the focus is on personal customer advice without disregarding digital aspects.
Open and closed consultation rooms offer the respective suitable place for customer consultation.
Vicenza
The challenge lay in the joint use of the premises by the South Tyrolean companies Sparkasse and the energy provider Alperia.
With the help of colour highlights – based on the colour palettes of the two companies – a synergy of the two companies was created.
Natural wood and marble were used to emphasise the companies’ origins.
In this branch, there is an interplay of online and offline with touch screens and monitors as well as private meeting rooms.
